Burton is Saftey Advocate

Current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points leader and safety advocate, Jeff Burton, helped install an additional 340 feet of SAFER barriers at Lowe's Motor Speedway today. In preparation for the May 17 Sprint Cup All-Star Race and the track classic Coca-Cola 600 on May 25, Burton assisted Lowe's Motor Speedway President, Humpy Wheeler, in placing the first new section of the steel/foam combined energy-reducing barriers along the 1.5-mile track's backstretch. Continuing with the busy day, Burton and Wheeler prepared a feast in celebration of the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 weekend.
