He has been No. 1 since the race at Martinsville, Va., on March 30 and heads into Saturday's Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway with a 22-point lead over Kyle Busch.

Burton is hoping his team will be able to keep the momentum up as he seeks his first career championship.
