The season that Kyle Busch is enjoying has cast a very long, very opaque shadow. Because of it, few other drivers are seeing much exposure.

One of those drivers whose exploits have been obscured is Jeff Burton.

Very, very quietly, Burton has put together a boffo season. He is second in Sprint Cup points, just 21 behind Busch. In fact, he is the only driver within 145 points of Busch.
